The Monarch series chessmen in ebony and boxwood represents only the finest quality, materials and design. The Bridled knights have an immense amount of detail and very distinctive styling to their manes. The set itself is undeniably Staunton with a handful of design elements that make this set unique. Some would argue that the queen is the most distinctive piece with an eastern influence to her design. Only the finest ebony and boxwood have been used to create this super luxury chess set. Each piece is triple-weighted and felted. As you would expect on a chess set of this caliber, four queens are included.
