Sam McKenzie is a cartoonist and illustrator based in Meanjin Brisbane, Australia. His work is heavily influenced by a fascination with 20th century pop culture artifacts, such as comic books, 80s cartoons, and DIY punk culture. His energetic illustrations are widely recognized for their dynamic compositions, meticulous detail, and sludgy-toxic-pop color schemes.
