Golden Tench Doctor Fish Tinca Tinca 10cmOverview: The Golden Tench, also known as the Doctor Fish, is a captivating and resilient freshwater species. Recognized for its shimmering golden-yellow scales, this fish adds a touch of elegance to any pond or aquarium. Its nickname, "Doctor Fish," comes from its reputed ability to heal sick fish with its presence.
Origin: Native to Europe and Western Asia, the Golden Tench thrives in still or slow-moving waters such as ponds, lakes, and calm river systems. It has adapted well to a variety of climates and is a popular choice for outdoor ponds.
Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, the Golden Tench enjoys a diet of invertebrates, plant matter, and commercially prepared fish foods. They are particularly fond of worms, insect larvae, and small crustaceans. Regular feeding with a balanced diet ensures vibrant coloration and overall health.
Tank Mates: This peaceful species coexists well with similar-sized pond fish like goldfish, koi, and other non-aggressive species. Avoid pairing with small, delicate fish as they may be outcompeted for food.
Aggression: The Golden Tench is known for its calm and placid nature, rarely showing aggression towards tank mates. Its tranquil demeanor makes it an excellent addition to a community pond.
Experience Level: Suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarists, the Golden Tench is hardy and relatively easy to care for, making it an ideal choice for those new to pond keeping.
Water Parameters: Thriving in a temperature range of 4-24°C (39-75°F), the Golden Tench prefers slightly acidic to neutral water (pH 6.5-7.5). Regular water changes and a well-maintained filtration system are essential for keeping the water clean and oxygen-rich.
Bring the serene beauty of the Golden Tench to your pond or aquarium and enjoy the tranquility it brings to your aquatic environment.

Inputs and outputs not as advertised!
The inputs weren’t big enough for true 0 gauge wire and outputs were too small for true 4 gauge wire. As someone with a lot of mechanical background I was able to make it work using 0 to 4 gauge adapters and a drill had to bore the outputs to get the adapters to fit. Dont buy if not mechanically incline!

Not for 0 or 2 gauge wire.
The input on the 3 way I got is only big enough for a 4 gauge wire and doesn't have the reducer ferrules. The output is under sized where a 4 gauge might go in but not cleanly and also doesn't have the ferrules. The 4 way I got does accept a 0 gauge in and has the ferrules and the outputs are larger with ferrules.
