🌸 What's Actually In This Box — Flower Analysis & Breakdown

What flowers make up this collection?

Based on the catalog images for this collection, here is what you can expect to find in each Petite Rose Bouquet box. This is a rose-forward mix where roses carry the dominant visual weight, supported by seasonal fillers and accent flowers that add volume and texture without competing with the rose focal blooms.

🌹 Roses (Focal Bloom — Primary)

Standard roses in a range of colors — white, red, yellow, and pink are the most common in this collection. These are your main corsage focal flower. Full, round bloom heads with strong petals that hold their shape well after wiring and conditioning. Standard roses from this collection typically measure 40–50mm across the bloom head when fully open — the ideal corsage size.

Spray roses (mini roses in small clusters on a single stem) also appear in this collection. Spray roses are exceptionally useful for graduation corsage work: each stem yields 4–7 individual small blooms that can be individually wired into corsages and boutonnieres, giving you more design units per stem than a standard rose.

🌸 Gerbera Daisies (Supporting Focal)

Gerbera daisies in pastel and vibrant tones appear regularly in this collection as secondary focal flowers. For graduation corsage design, gerberas are ideal: they're lightweight, flat-faced (easy to wire), and photograph beautifully. Small or mini gerberas are especially popular as boutonniere focal flowers at prom and graduation.

🌼 Button Chrysanthemums (Filler)

Button chrysanthemums (small, densely-petaled round blooms on multi-headed stems) serve as volume filler in this collection. For corsage design, individual button mums are often used to fill gaps between focal roses and add texture without adding significant weight to the piece.

🌿 Alstroemeria (Accent Bloom)

Alstroemeria (Peruvian lily) adds color variance and light texture. Its funnel-shaped blooms with speckled inner petals are a classic graduation corsage accent — long vase life, lightweight, and available in a wide color range.

🔴 Hypericum Berries (Texture & Color Accent)

Hypericum berries in red or coral tones add a distinctive texture point that catches light in photos. In corsage design, small hypericum clusters are used as pin accents or as a separation element between focal blooms. They also add a warm jewel-toned contrast that makes rose corsages pop in graduation photography.

🌿 Accent Greens

Seasonal accent greens — typically including small-leaf varieties — provide background framing for floral pieces and give corsage designs a finished, professional edge.

Important Note on Natural Variation

Fresh flowers are a living product. Exact bloom stage, color shade, and specific variety within each category may vary slightly by season and farm availability. When substitutions are needed, we match the overall palette, stem value, and design character of the collection — so your graduation florals always look intentional and cohesive.

🎓 How to Use These Flowers for Graduation & Prom

From corsages to ceremony stage — here's what you can do with this collection.

  • High school prom corsages and boutonnieres: The classic graduation personal flower — rose-centered wrist and pin-on corsages for every prom-going student.
  • High school graduation ceremony bouquets: Parents presenting graduates with a hand-tied rose bouquet at the ceremony — one of the most photographed graduation moments.
  • College and university graduation receptions: Table arrangements and centerpieces for graduation dinners and receptions hosted by families after the ceremony.
  • Parent committee bulk corsage programs: Schools whose parent committees manage the graduation corsage program — ordering by the box, designing in organized community sessions.
  • Florists with multiple graduation accounts: Florists who service multiple schools during prom season — the Petite Rose is a reliable, consistent SKU across all accounts.

Planning Guide by Graduation Size

  • Small class / intimate ceremony (under 80 graduates): 1–2 boxes covers personal flowers (corsages + boutonnieres) and basic table or stage arrangements.
  • Mid-size graduation (80–200 graduates): 3–5 boxes for full personal flowers, prom court flowers, and venue centerpieces across all tables.
  • Large high school or university graduation (200+ graduates): 6+ boxes for complete coverage — corsages, boutonnieres, stage focal pieces, entrance arches, and reception/after-prom décor.

For Moms Buying Individual Graduation Flowers

  • One box gives you far more than you need for a single corsage and boutonniere — consider coordinating with other prom families to split a box and share the savings.
  • If you need a single-stem graduation bouquet to present to your graduate, the stems in this collection condition beautifully into hand-tied bouquets with a simple tutorial.
✨ Why Florists & Graduation Committees Choose This Collection
  • Rose-forward for classic graduation designs: Standard and spray roses are the #1 requested graduation corsage flower in the United States — this collection centers them.
  • Corsage-optimized stem size: At 25–30 cm, stems are the ideal length for cutting and wiring into corsages without excessive waste.
  • High stem yield per box: 18–24 bouquets per box yields 270–480 individual workable stems depending on configuration — enough for 90–160+ corsages.
  • Spray roses = maximum corsage units per stem: Each spray rose stem yields 4–7 individual mini-rose blooms — the most efficient corsage input in the collection.
  • Classic palette, timeless appeal: Rose-forward designs photograph beautifully in every school color scheme — from navy and gold to red and white to lavender and silver.

How to Choose the Right Configuration for Your Graduation Program

  • More stems / bouquet + fewer bouquets / box → More raw material per bunch. Best for professional florists designing intricate corsages, wired boutonnieres, and layered prom arrangements where stem flexibility matters.
  • Fewer stems / bouquet + more bouquets / box → More total units per box at a lower cost per unit. Best for parent committees ordering in quantity to manage per-student floral budgets.
  • 40 cm vs. 50 cm length → 50 cm gives you longer stems for wiring, corsage work, and tall centerpiece arrangements. 40 cm is ideal for compact table arrangements, bud vases, and small venue accent pieces.
  • Every box ships with a flower care guide and free overnight shipping to your door.
🌱 Flower Care for Graduation & Prom — Step by Step

Timing matters for graduation flowers. Follow this sequence for the best results:

  • Open the box immediately on arrival and remove all stems from packaging.
  • Strip any foliage below the waterline — clean water is essential for maximizing vase life.
  • Cut 1–2 inches off each stem at an angle and place in clean buckets with cool water and flower food.
  • Let flowers hydrate for at least 12–24 hours (overnight is ideal) before designing corsages, boutonnieres, or arrangements.
  • Change water daily and re-cut stems as needed throughout the design window.
  • Keep away from direct sun, heat vents, fans, and fruit — ethylene gas shortens bloom life significantly.

Graduation corsage & boutonniere timing: Condition flowers for 24–48 hours after arrival before designing. Complete corsage and boutonniere construction 1–2 days before graduation or prom night. Store finished pieces in a cool space (not freezing) — the warmest setting of a home refrigerator works well if a floral cooler isn't available. Avoid storing with fruits or vegetables.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions — Graduation & Prom Edition
How many graduation corsages can I make from one box?

With 18–24 bouquets per box and 15–20 stems per bouquet, one box yields approximately 270–480 workable stems depending on your configuration. Assuming an average of 3–5 stems per corsage, one box can produce 60–120+ individual corsages. Spray rose stems multiply this further — each spray stem yields 4–7 individual mini blooms.

Are these roses the right size for graduation wrist corsages?

Yes. Standard roses in this collection typically measure 40–50mm across when conditioned and open — the ideal focal size for a wrist corsage. Spray roses provide smaller individual blooms perfect for filler and accent positions in the corsage design.

Can I order this as a parent buying corsage flowers for just my child?

Yes — we welcome individual parent orders. One box gives you more material than a single corsage needs; many families coordinate with 2–3 other families to split a box and cover multiple corsages at a significant cost savings vs. retail florist pricing.

I'm a mom buying flowers for my child's graduation — can I order from here?

Absolutely. Our wholesale boxes are available to everyone — professional florists, floral designers, parent committees, and individual parents. You do not need a business license or florist certification to place an order. We ship farm-direct to your home, school, or shop.

How far in advance should I order for graduation?

Order at least 7–10 days before your graduation or prom event. This ensures you have enough time to receive the shipment, fully condition and hydrate the flowers (24–48 hours minimum), and complete all design work 1–2 days before the event without rushing. Last-minute orders risk compromised bloom quality.

Does this work for both high school prom and college graduation ceremonies?

Yes — this collection is used for high school prom corsages and boutonnieres, high school graduation ceremonies, college and university graduation receptions, and everything in between. The flowers don't know the occasion — the occasion is defined by your design and intention.

What if a specific flower in the box isn't available on my delivery date?

If any variety in the curated mix is unavailable at time of shipment, we substitute with a stem of equal or greater value that maintains the same color palette, bloom style, and design character. Your graduation flowers will always look cohesive and intentional.

💐 What Is the Petite Rose Bouquet Used For at Graduation & Prom?

The Petite Rose Bouquet is the backbone of graduation flower programs across the United States. Florists rely on it for high school prom corsage supply. Parent committees order it by the box to run school-organized corsage programs. Moms order it to make their child's graduation corsage and boutonniere at home. And it doubles as the centerpiece supply for graduation dinners, reception tables, and ceremony stage arrangements — all from a single reliable wholesale box.

  • Graduation presentation bouquets: A beautiful hand-tied bouquet to present to a graduate during the ceremony — one of the most photographed moments of graduation day.

The most legit banana plugs I could find on Amazon
Size: 6 Pairs / 12 pcs, Size: 6 Pairs / 12 pcs
NEW PREFACE:: I am kind of glad I first bought the horribly magnetic, horribly made and GOLD PAINTED Sewell crimp on plugs (some reviewers say that Sewell are better and easier to use than the FosPower, which is true in design, but in quality of materials FosPower beats them hands down!!) ... Changing from those to these FosPower plugs plus the Monoprice 90° plugs, I am flabbergasted at the difference they make in sound quality. I have heard people say that they can hear the difference and even as an audiophile I was skeptical..... but my skepticism has been completely erased by what I am hearing with my own ears. I waited a few days to make sure I wasn’t just tripping before updating this review 🤣....but it has become clear to me how much a difference plugs made from the right materials actually make!!! I am 100% serious that the bass coming out of my Polk Signature Series tower speakers has at least doubled at the same volume. I can also now turn the volume up Way past my max volume before, without any distortion and much more clarity and less harsh highs. Everything just sounds warmer in general now which is amazing!!!! This is dangerous info for me... because now I’m thinking about making some really nice custom wires to see how much of a difference that makes 🙄🙄🤣 OK onto the review of the actual plugs here~~ These seem like decent connectors. I can’t tell if they are brass or copper, but they only have a slight hint of a magnetic property when testing them with a very powerful magnet. I was easily able to fit x2 - 14ga wires into it for bi-wiring purposes, including screwing on the collar. (As seen in my example pic) The gold plating on the tips seems legit and not painted like some of the plugs from Sewell... I have tested and tried quite a few plugs from Amazon and most seem to be crap. These however hold up better than most! These and the Monoprice 90° banana plugs with the black and red rubber sleeves. The latter are gold plated copper and have zero magnetic properties. (if you need 90° banana plugs) UPDATE: still the best plugs I have found, but upon full install found two issues. One is a defect where a set of the plug threads for the barrel cover body weren’t cut right. The body’s do not tighten and stay loose because of that. Obvious issue for vibration with metal on metal... The other issue is that even though these say they can fit different gauge wires, they seem to be geared more towards 12 or 10 gauge. I am using semi solid strand 14 gauge and find that unless I fold the wire over to make it double thick, the bolts use up all the thread and seem to become kind of loose inside the body. They won’t fully seat and keep spinning no matter how much you tighten. They seem to stay secure still but I just wonder about longevity over time with vibrations. So I just doubled up the wire and they seated fine! Not the worst issue in the world, but just kind of a pain since you have to strip the wire longer than you normally would so you can fold it over. ANOTHER UPDATE: I had to remove these plugs from the wire to connect them to a crappy spring terminal amp while my better amp was in the shop. The issue I wrote about with the set screws "bottoming out" on smaller gauge wire became a more pronounced issue! I could not unscrew the set screws anymore and just had to cut the wires... So that means I will need to purchase more of these to replace the ones I cannot get wire back into. Not the best design, but still one of the best plugs I have found on Amazon.

These are the best ones I’ve found. This order will connect one wire. Luckily that’s what I needed. If you’re doing more than one wire…

Superior Design!
Size: 6 Pairs / 12 pcs
Delivery was lightning fast. I tried a pack of two pairs of these banana jacks as a sample to see if these would meet my needs. The design of these plugs is superior. The design was exactly what I wanted because the speaker wire is secured with TWO set screws. Then I ordered an additional six pairs of plugs to hook up my subwoofer to my amp and speakers. (I feed the audio output from the amp to the sub. The sub has a crossover that keeps the low frequencies and sends the mid and treble frequencies to my bookshelf speakers.) I love the security of two set screws on each plug and love the barrel that screws on AFTER the wire is secured by the set screws. Most banana plugs have a hole through the shaft of the plug that receives the stripped wire. Then the barrel cover is screwed down to secure the wire in the plug. This design compresses the speaker wire but eventually the cap loses it grip and allows the connection between the wire and the plug to become loose. Then the transfer of the audio signal becomes poor and the speakers sound bad. Every month or two I needed to check all the banana plugs and re-tighten many of them for the best performance. The two set screws eliminate this problem. The set screws are quite small and take a little extra care in installation. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver to tighten them. I used the 1/8" flat blade driver from a set of jewelers screwdrivers. These well made plugs are a bit pricier that many of the banana plugs available but certainly not the priciest plugs available. For me, the slightly higher price was more than offset by the security of the wire within the plug. I'm not thrilled with the extra tight fit of the tip on the plugs into the jacks. It took a lot of effort to insert the in the jack. Actually I "greased" the pins (very sparingly) with with non-corrosion, conductive paste (Ox-Gard, No-Corrode, etc. Do NOT use any other grease.) Next time I'll use pliers to compress the pin. My only quibbles are that the spring pins that go into the jack are very tight and that the plugs are only sold in quantities of two pairs or 12 pairs. I recommend these banana plugs for all who are using the banana plugs and jacks for hooking up your speakers. It's a very convenient way of connecting speakers if your speakers and amplifier have the banana jack as part of the binding post. Further, it's much safer to use banana plugs since the possibility of shorting your amplifier with a stray strand of wire is practically zero. Easy Five Stars.
