Antique Victorian Monogram Signet Ring in 18 Carat Gold; Circa 1890A striking late Victorian signet ring, rich in symbolism and timeless design. At its centre lies a beautifully executed oval glass intaglio, cleverly designed to imitate black and pale banded agate, creating dramatic contrast and depth beneath the engraving. A striking late Victorian signet ring, rich in symbolism and timeless design. At its centre lies a beautifully executed oval glass intaglio, cleverly designed to imitate black and pale banded agate, creating dramatic contrast and depth beneath the engraving.

The intaglio is finely carved with the interwoven initials “B C”, rendered in a subtle Gothic style script. Intwined initials such as these were often chosen to represent unity, devotion or shared identity, suggesting this ring may once have commemorated a meaningful personal bond or relationship.

Surrounding the intaglio is a classic 18 carat gold signet mount, enhanced by delicate fluted detailing around the bezel. A refined decorative touch typical of late Victorian craftsmanship. The warm, buttery gold beautifully complements the monochrome tones of the intaglio, allowing the engraved initials to take centre stage.

Both elegant and deeply personal, this antique signet ring would have been worn as a quiet statement of identity or sentiment. Today, it remains a timeless and characterful jewel, perfect for collectors of meaningful Victorian jewellery or those drawn to historic pieces with enduring romance and presence.

Childhood fans of Michelinie Iron Man and Mantlo Hulk are creating this
Format: Kindle
So. It's adult, real-world based, and suspenseful. As a child I could afford only to buy a few comics a month with the little.money I earned. Mantlo Hulk and Michelinie/Layton Iron Man were two of the five or six comics I bought. So glad I took a chance on checking this out. Looks like I will be reading a current series this year. A lot happens in just this one issue, both mental sparring and physical bang-ups. Nice blend of food for thought and eye candy. I'm excited for the rest of the series.

Takin’ Care Of Business!
Format: Kindle
While I thoroughly enjoyed the previous run of Iron Man, a comic I stay at least in the know as best as I can, I have a feeling that this is going to be even better.

Getting There
Format: Kindle
The let’s take Stark’s company plot is getting old, but at least this time they’re showing that Tony Stark ‘s major asset is his intellect. Still leaning too much into the Stark is an alcoholic canon, which even the writers of that arc admit was a mistake that they hadn’t thought out fully; a mistake that sucked the fun out of Invincible Iron Man for decades until Robert Downey Jr portrayed the character on the big screen, and writers on the comic started to write Stark to resemble the character as originally written. I do not like the art design on Tony Stark on this run at all. The feeble Howard Hughes look doesn’t fit Tony Stark at all, but if the story gets better, I can live with it. The art will change with the next team anyway. Ackerman seems to at least like Tony Stark and he seems to understand him; two things that were definitely not the case with Cantwell. Issue one didn’t put me off, and I’m invested enough to continue and see where it goes. At this stage with many Marvel titles that’s saying a lot.

Good, angry, start
Format: Kindle
After working at a manufacturing plant, I definitely appreciated Stark looking out for his workers. I will say the hostile takeover storyline feels a little over done for Iron man. Hope there are twists to come.
