Роман 'Ведмежий танок' (2019) — гіркий і, водночас, смішний портрет останніх місяців життя Ярослава Гашека (автора Швейка) у відлюдному маєтку Ліпніце над Сазавою в 1922 році. Серед дощів і осінньої сирої мряки оживають спогади про талант, слабкості та приховані травми: від шаленого провокатора до самотнього генія. Не просто біографія, а мозаїка доби, де реальність переплітається з вигадкою, а сміх маскує біль.

Ведмежий танок — метафора  абсурдності, незграбності та хаосу в житті Гашека: він, мов той  ведмідь, що танцює в клітці провінційного містечка Ліпніце, де проводить останні місяці, намагаючись дописати 'Швейка', однак занурюється в саморуйнування через хворобу, пияцтво та конфлікти з оточенням.
