The Bowers & Wilkins CCM683 is a premium in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for those who want exceptional sound quality without visible clutter. Combining advanced materials with precise engineering, it delivers detailed, dynamic sound that’s ideal for home cinema or multi-room installations.
At its heart is a 200 mm (8-inch) blue Kevlar® cone bass/midrange driver, renowned for its rigidity and low distortion. This produces smooth, articulate midrange and powerful, controlled bass. The 25 mm (1-inch) aluminium dome tweeter is mounted in a pivoting housing, allowing you to direct the sound precisely toward the listening area for optimal clarity and imaging.
A three-position high-frequency switch provides simple tuning to adapt the sound to your room’s acoustics. With 8-ohm impedance and 88 dB sensitivity, the CCM683 pairs easily with a wide range of amplifiers or AV receivers.
Installation is fast and secure using Bowers & Wilkins’ QuickDog™ mounting system, which allows tool-free fitting. The magnetic, paintable grille ensures a clean, unobtrusive finish that blends seamlessly with your ceiling.
