Description

The Bevel Boss Adjustable Rest is the attachment you've been waiting for to accurately and controllably grind your bevels without the need for a jig. It features a large deep-notch rest that is fully angle adjustable from 0° to 100°, providing versatility for various grinding requirements.

The chamfer on the underside of the rest ensures the work surface can be brought within 1mm of the platen at up to 10° of angle. This design effectively eliminates the chance of material falling down between the rest and platen, ensuring a clean and precise grinding experience.

To use the Bevel Boss Adjustable Rest, simply set the platen and bevel rest to your desired angle (we recommend using an angle box for accurate measurements). Then, firmly hold the spine of the knife on the work rest and grind your bevel to the desired depth. It's a straightforward and efficient process that enhances your grinding workflow.

This attachment is particularly well-suited for scandi grinds, bushcraft knives, hollow grinds, and other similar applications where precise bevel grinding is essential.

The Bevel Boss Adjustable Rest comes with a fixed 300x215mm work rest that is 6mm thick. It also includes a machined aluminium tooling arm, available in either 30x30mm or 40x40mm, to suit your Shop Mate 2x48" or Shop Master 2x72" belt grinder linisher.
