Just like its little sister WK 500, the longer WK 540 is noticeably easy to drive but still stable enough for beginners. The cockpit is spacious and provides free legroom for those who like a sitting position for exercise paddling, but there are wings on the frame that enable Eskimo turns and contact in rough seas. Narrow in front of the cockpit so that you get a tight paddle position. Easy to edge to make it more maneuverable in windier conditions. Long waterline and fast hull distinguish the WK540 with adjustable backrest. The kayak is also equipped with knee supports and a rudder that is easy to handle. Fittings for float rescue, stainless steel locking eye and handles in the bow and stern are standard. 20cm round hatch on the foredeck and 44x26cm oval and a round 20cm on the aft deck. This extra round hatch on the aft deck is really smart as it makes it easier to stow and access what you have in the stern. Rudder and easily adjustable pedal stand are of course also included as standard.
