The Carli Starter system was developed for our customers who want to dramatically improve the street drive comfort of Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 series trucks and increase light off-road performance. This system offers several key performance features that will substantially enhance the vehicle's capabilities without breaking the bank.

The Starter System includes the Front Leveling Kit and options a rear Add-A-Pack and matching Rear Shocks. This system is designed for people seeking a leveled vehicle with more performance and ride quality than a generic spacer lift, then adding the rear kit to further the ride quality improvement. The Carli Signature Series front and rear shocks have been custom-tuned, in-house, for superior ride quality.

The Details: Your truck will sit 2.5"-3" higher in the front with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform, thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The rear can be lifted approximately 1" when equipped with Carli's optional progressive add-a-pack. The Progressive Add-A-Pack replaces the factory overload with a 5-Leaf, progressive pack that changes the final rate of the spring pack, keeping the rear planted while increasing traction and predictability.

The included front and rear Carli Signature Series Shocks are longer to accommodate the extended travel. When designing the shocks, Zinc plating, Clear Coat for corrosion resistance, and quality bushings were a must; finished off with boots to protect the shafts. Carli backs them with a limited lifetime warranty to ensure their quality is as unbeatable as their ride quality at this price point.

When pairing added down-travel with the taller ride height, the position of the factory front sway bar will need to be altered as well. For this reason, Carli offers extended Sway Bar End Links as an optional upgrade to restore proper sway bar geometry after lifting the vehicle. The End links are equipped with 1/2" FK Rod-Ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies that are extended over stock to reset the sway bar engagement point. Factory pillow-bushings are reused to assemble the sway bar to the lengthened link.

When lifting the front end of a straight axle truck, the front axle is pulled off-center unless the proper linkages are addressed. Three inches of front lift equates to an axle shifted toward the driver's side 3/4" and back toward the cab 1/2". Although this is perfectly operable, we recommend the purchase of an adjustable track bar and relocation bracket to shift the axle back toward the passenger side and provide a stronger link with less deflection for the lifted application, and a set of extended control arms to shift the axle forward to its new center of travel.

Wheel and Tire: This system will fit up to a 35" tire when paired with extended control arms for proper axle positioning and clearance on wheels with 5.75-6" of backspacing. If running factory wheels, we recommend an All Terrain 35" tire to avoid rubbing. For 37" tire fitment, High-Clearance Control Arms and Adjustable Track Bar can be paired to a wheel with 5.75" of Backspacing. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5.75" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems
  • TIRES: 35", E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R
  • RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Leveling Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35" E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter, will result in a stiffer ride.

Weights are great, the stand is cheap but good
I bought this for our little home gym. The weights are accurate and comfortable to use. I did read reviews that said the plastic stand came broken for a lot of customers. I did not personally have this issue so maybe they upgraded their packaging. I can say it is a little flimsy but it works for me just fine and I don't plan on returning.

The stand DOES work! Amazing weight set! Perfect for beginners.
Style: 18lb, set of 6 with stand (Spring Bloom), Style: 18lb, set of 6 with stand (Spring Bloom)
When I got these for my beginner Pilates workouts, I absolutely loved everything about them except for the stand/rack (keep reading, the rack is actually awesome). The colors are so vibrant and beautiful and the material feels really good. The weights are 2lb, 3lb, and 4lb - this is perfect for a beginner like me who has never any used weights before. 4 lbs sounds light until you do your first 20 bicep curls ever - that’s when I realized they are perfect for my beginner level to build strength without hurting myself or flaring up my previous back and hip injuries. They have the hexagon type shape so they don’t roll away when you set them down. WELL I just couldn’t understand why the stand was pictured as an “A” shape and mine was “stuck” straight up and down so the weights had to be man handled to get them out of the rack. Or so I thought. Keep reading - I went back and I read through all the other reviews and didn’t see any other complaints about the stand, so I decided I had to take another look at mine. Well it turns out it was a user error. Lol. I wrestled with it trying to get a screwdriver under the handle to see if the screws needed to be loosened in order for it to slant in the “A” shape so the weights would come out more easily. I also tried to pull it really hard. Then I finally just grabbed one side of the stand and tried unscrew it to see if I could take it apart and rebuild it better. To my surprise - each side EASILY turned and clicked into place - with the weights FACING OUTWARD instead of inward. There’s plenty of space to get them out of the rack now! Watch the video I posted with this review to see how easy it is. Lol how embarrassing. But I know I can’t be the only one who thought they got a defective stand. Lol.
