(tr) Design: Marketing-Department; Execution: Eug. Kögler". Contained in a large, fine quality presentation folder of red moroccan leather with embossed gilt German national eagle centered, Italian fasces in lower right corner and Italian Royal crest in upper left corner. Folder measures ca. 48x34x3cm. Reported to have been a gift to General Robert A. McClure from General Dwight D. Eisenhower as a memento of time serving together. Included is a photo of General Robert A. McClure and General George C. Marshall along with a 1932 Western Union Telegram to McClure as a Captain.
Max Amann (24 November 1891 – 30 March 1957) was a high-ranking member of the NSDAP Party. He was a German politician, businessman and art collector, including looted art. He was the first business manager of the NSDAP Party and later became the head of Eher Verlag (Eher Publishing), the official NSDAP Party publishing house. He was also the Reichsleiter for the press. After the war ended, Amann was arrested by U.S. military occupation authorities. A court deemed him a Hauptschuldiger (Major Offender). Amann was sentenced to ten years in a labour camp, stripped of his property, pension rights, and virtually all of his fortune. Amann was released from custody in 1953, and died in poverty in Munich four years later.

Cute? Yes! Durable? Not so much…

Upon opening this toy I was hopeful that it would last my dog (medium size beagle mix) quite a while. While he enjoyed it, he was able to start ripping it up less than 24 hours after getting it. Now 10 days later, he’s completely destroyed it. He was able to rip open all layers of material, pull them apart, and tear all the squeakers out. While the squeakers are large, they could be a choking hazard for a large dog. Based on the advertised “durability” of this toy and how little time it lasted my dog, I would not purchase it again.

German Shepard destroy

Cute, soft, quiet and durable
This stuffy is HUGE! I was expecting it to be half this size. We're happy to have a stuffy that does *NOT* have a squeaker. We're finding it to be very sturdy. My 4 month old puppy is a terrier mix and she loves to attack and shake stuffies and you can't tell this thing has been abused at all. Looks the same a 2 weeks later as it did new. It's one of her favorites and we love it because its quiet. Should last a long time.
This is an update 4 months after purchase. The red squirrel continues to be a favorite with my puppy. With other plush toys, she tears them apart in 10 minutes. This one, somehow, has lasted months. Over time, she has pulled off the tail, the ears, and two of the legs, but the body is still intact. Amazing!

My dog freakin’ LOVES this
Favorite toy of my dog. He’s a heavy chewer - and yes, he’s chewed the tail off and one of the ears - but he carries it around all the time - plays with it all the time - even sleeps with it. And it has held up for months. I’m getting another one just to have as a backup as I don’t think he can live without it. Also love that the eyes are embroidered and not plastic so he won’t accidentally swallow them. Best toy ever.
