The BC Racing BR Series – RS Type coilovers for the Honda Civic EK/EM (1996–2000) provide a highly capable suspension upgrade for drivers who want sharper handling, improved chassis stability and full adjustability for both street and performance driving. This configuration comes with 10/8 kg/mm spring rates, offering a firmer, more responsive setup ideal for spirited driving, track days and aggressive stance builds.

Designed for models using a rear fork lower mount, these coilovers include 30-way adjustable damping, independent ride height adjustment and a durable monotube damper design — giving EK/EM owners the flexibility to fine-tune both comfort and handling precision.

Installed a few months ago, before the winter. I was chasing a no-start after replacing the old battery. We've seen single digit temps in the meantime and it is working well. The fit is perfect in a 2010 focus. If you can slide it in from the side and not drop it in from the top, you can replace it without taking off the intake manifold.
