They feature a special casing that allows them remain flexible in spite of the cold, and they offer a standard 7-way RV blade for a reliable connection. Like our standard replacement 7-way RV blade harnesses, CURT cold-weather harnesses replace the trailer-end of your wiring system and easily splice into the existing trailer wires. However, our cold-resistant harnesses also come with a unique thermoplastic elastomer casing. The casing is made to be soft enough that it will not stiffen in the cold, yet durable enough to provide good protection for the wires within. The harness is rated to remain flexible in temperatures as low as -40 Degree Fahrenheit, allowing you to easily plug in and tow no matter what the season of the year and no matter how far north the road takes you.
