The stock Duramax engine oil pan is made of stamped steel, which offers very poor heat dissipation. This upgraded pan is made from cast A356.0-T6 aluminum for added strength and optimum heat management. The extra quart of capacity provided by this product helps reduce oil temperatures, increase oil pressure, and provide better lubrication to your engine's vital components.
