HYPSOS has always featured enormous power reserves — far more than a single device typically demands. Rather than let that headroom go to waste, Ferrum engineered HYPSOS Dual Output to put those reserves to work. Hybrid power system
A linear/switching hybrid design captures the advantages of both technologies — low ripple and noise from linear regulation, combined with fast transient response and high efficiency from switching technology. Now powering two devices at once.
Sweet Spot Tuning (SST)
Fine-tune the output voltage on the fly to find the optimal operating point for your connected devices. Safely adjust voltage levels during playback for easy A/B comparison — a feature unique to Ferrum.
4T Sensing Design (4TSD)
Ensures the exact voltage level at the DC input terminal of the powered device, not just at the supply output. The special cable design and feedback loop eliminate the harmful effects of cable resistance, effectively improving transient response. Active on the main output.
Easy setup
Choose from pre-configured settings for supported Ferrum devices or set custom parameters manually. A wide continuous output voltage range of 5–30V with up to 6A of combined current makes HYPSOS Dual Output one of the most versatile external power supplies available.
Advanced automation
Compatible with Apple TV remote, and features a Trigger in/out connector for automated power-up of connected devices — even without a dedicated trigger connection via standby mode.
Extremely safe to use
Automatic Transformer Voltage Adjust (ATVA), electronic output voltage polarity switch, and full overvoltage, current limit, and short circuit protection.
Included DC cable
Comes with a high-quality DC power cable fitted to order for the most commonly used DC inputs. Custom cables available to order.
