A wonderful natural pearl ring from the Arts & Crafts Era (ca1910)! Crafted in sterling silver, this handmade ring has a decorative navette shaped design. Three natural Mississippi River pearls are bezel set at the center, surrounded by a swirled leaf and vine motif. All three of the pearls have a lustrous surface, and vary slightly in shape and size. The asymmetry of the design gives the ring a wonderful, organic quality that is a special characteristic of handcrafted jewelry. Completing the design is a simple and smooth band, which is stamped "STERLING" inside the shank. A wonderful example of the Arts & Crafts Era aesthetic, this artistic ring makes a beautiful statement piece!Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could easily be resized up or down. The navette shaped pearl centerpiece measures approximately 1 1/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and rests flat against the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. All three natural pearls are intact and secure within their setting. There is a natural darkened patina within the grooves of the piece, which is normal and adds depth to the design. A small section of the sterling leaf design was recently restored, expertly returning the piece to its original, seamless design.

Very Informative, but lacking in one or two areas.

I'm disabled and need a better living condition. I'm already on the waiting list for S8 and have been for the last year and a half.
The book is informative, but it lacks in some areas. The author seems to think that many on disability have the option to "physically move around" doing chores and visiting offices. I'm a disabled 53 year old man, homebound and just recently lost daytime access to my little truck, only available to me during the weekends and evening hours, and when I do have it, it's rare I drive long distances. I cannot even afford to ride public transportation and have no one else to lean on for support.
Also he seems to think that buying donuts/lunch for the whole office is a way in... maybe it's a way in for those that can afford it.. but not for many.
Other than that.. it's worth to buy the download of the book itself.

Can be useful for some.
Format: Paperback
This book is an easy read. I read it in one sitting. I found the information interesting, and not boring. Please keep in mind that everyone's situation is different, and not all tips will apply to you. I did find some points useful for future reference. If you're someone who doesn't know much about section 8 you would probably find this book helpful. Overall, I don't regret getting this book.

Great even if you don't use section 8
This a great book even if you aren't planning to use section 8. I learned a lot of things to go on the frugal side to save some money. This guy had 300 homes so you know he was doing something right. It was so interesting to read. Great book...I read it fast and I read it 2 times. I followed a lot of his tips.
