The Princess Bride: I Hate to Kill You is a fast-paced dice and card game that brings the sword duels from The Princess Bride to life with a creative twist. Players can choose to be the Man in Black, Inigo Montoya, Count Rugen, or Prince Humperdinck. Each player starts with six dice and ten cards. On each turn, players roll their dice and play cards to influence the results. Cards can alter their own dice, affect their opponent's dice, or return dice to the active pool. The player with the highest total of Swords scores a hit and must remove one die showing a sword. The first player to score five hits wins the duel and the game.
