PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Durable outdoor jacket with well thought out functions for demanding treks all four seasons

There MAYBE a 5 to 7 working day delay on SOME sizes due to restocks from Sweden.

  • Durable, well-equipped jacket for outdoor life, all year round.
  • Made from wind- and water-resistant G-1000 Eco and G-1000 HeavyDuty.
  • Advanced storm hood with visor that can be folded in two stages.
  • Lots of large pockets for equipment and tools.
  • Durable outdoor jacket with well thought-out functions for demanding treks all four seasons of the year. The hood can be adjusted for a perfect fit around the head, and a visor construction means that you can fold the visor back from two angles, depending on whether you want maximum wind protection or more peripheral visibility. When not being worn, the hood forms a high collar that keeps your neck warm. Plenty of storage for a map, GPS, two-way radio and other necessities in the two diagonal breast pockets with flaps, two large bellow pockets at the hem and two pockets in the back. There are also two inner pockets, of which one is zippered. Extra fabric at the armpits and bellow pleat at the back provide excellent mobility. Buttoned sleeve cuffs. The jacket is made from wind and water resistant G-1000 Eco in recycled polyester and organic cotton with extra strong G-1000 Heavy Duty at the shoulders, sleeves and pockets. The fabric and details were chosen to minimise their impact on the environment - for example most of the leather details are made from leftover pieces of leather - and to make it easy to replace exposed sections after years of use.

Best pour-over coffee maker
This pour-over is my favorite. I've tried metal mesh and ceramic pour-over. This set up is the best, it aerates the coffee as you pour.

I Was WRONG!!!
I ordered this because I wanted to try it out. First, make sure that you have the correct filters available or you will get irritated too... It uses a V02 filter (the small triangular kind). Then after reading the instructions I realized how many steps are required to make a cup or two of coffee with this contraption... : ) I would really recommend making yourself familiar with this type coffee brewing PRIOR to making this your first cup of coffee in the morning! lol I also didn't have a Gooseneck-style teapot (I did get by without it, but I can see where you will want that style of teapot to make the pouring process more precise!), but I improvised and used a regular teapot and it did work. Keeping in mind, I had NO idea what a pour-over coffee pot involved to make a cup of coffee, hadn't had any caffiene yet and have been battling a virus for over a week now, up until I tried the coffee I was ready to complain about this coffee pot... Then I tried the coffee...OH MY!!! This was one of the BEST cups of coffee I have ever had! I used old, bleached white coffee filters, some flavored, pre-ground Cameron's coffee (so not even a strong grind), and I couldn't shut up! This is one FABULOUS coffee maker! I am SOLD on a pour-over style brewed coffee! If you have never tried one of these, please do! It makes a fabulous cup of coffee!

Just as described
Like I needed one more thing on my countertop! But it's coffee, so I'll make it work out. This is first product of it's type that I've used. I've seen it offered in coffee shops and thought that slower drip process must create a nice coffee. So, I've tried and I love it. Just follow the instructions, and get the filters at the same time or pick some up at your grocery store. If you're like me, you'll want to try it out right away. I enjoy a dark roast and this really improved the flavor of my usual brand of coffee. The only thing that concerns me is the beaker is made of pretty thin glass. I'm wondering if thicker glass would also help to keep the brew hot as I make enough for two cups. Overall, I'm really happy to have found this.

Durable glass coffee container, nice to use
Previously, we were using an old metal coffee can to store our coffee. The problem is that because it was not transparent, we found ourselves frequently running out of coffee. Out of sight, out of mind. This glass container lets us see how much coffee we have left, but the fact that the glass bottom didn't appear to be reinforced had concerned me somewhat, particularly because our kitchen counter is hard ceramic tile. Well, it seems that these glass containers are made of borosilicate glass, which is a special glass made with boron that has superior strength and durability. Apparently, borosilicate glass is made at a higher temperature, and slowly cooled to room temperature in a process called annealing. Annealing involves controlled cooling to relieve internal stresses and improve the strength and durability of the glassware. Still, I wish that the base of the glass container was thicker, like most bottles and jars. The lid fits on snug and airtight, and there is a button on top that you can push to pump out air and create a vacuum seal. I cannot comment on the worth of this nifty aspect, as the taste of our coffee has not noticeably changed after we began storing our beans in this container. Still, it is a nice container, it looks nice, appears to function well, and hasn't cracked yet. It even comes with a small sturdy steel coffee scoop. And we get to see our coffee all day long.
