The Equestrian Airbag Lanyard is an essential component that connects the airbag to the saddle strap, ensuring the airbag deploys correctly in the event of a fall. Each airbag comes with the lanyard pre-installed, so it’s ready to go right out of the box.
This lanyard features a carabiner and a key-ball at each end. The key-ball is positioned on the firing pin, keeping the mechanical system energized and ready to activate the CO2 cartridge in case of a fall. To install, simply attach the carabiner to the saddle strap, ensuring it is securely fastened to the metal ring of the strap.
Important: Always attach the carabiner to the saddle strap only. Attaching it to any other part of the saddle may not ensure proper inflation of the airbag. Additionally, be mindful that the lanyard does not wrap around any part of the saddle to prevent malfunction.
