Core Nutritionals Omega is a no-nonsense high-potency fish oil. It focuses on what counts: solid EPA and DHA per serving, a clear label, and a form that's easy for your body to use. Each 2-softgel serving gives you 1,300mg total omega-3s, with 720mg EPA and 480mg DHA. That's key because fish oil's real benefits come from EPA and DHA, not just the total 'fish oil' amount on the label.

EPA and DHA are the main omega-3s from fish that help with heart health, balancing inflammation, recovery, and brain function. EPA is the one that tackles inflammation head-on. It gets into your cell membranes and helps dial down inflammatory signals, which is why folks use fish oil for bouncing back from tough workouts or dealing with daily wear from lifting, cardio, or sports. At 720mg per serving, this gives a good daily EPA hit that's in the range for wellness, recovery, and keeping triglycerides in check.

DHA is different but just as important. It's a big part of the fat in your brain, eyes, and nerves, and it keeps cell membranes flexible for better signaling. With 480mg per serving, you get a solid DHA dose for brain support, eye health, and nerve strength. This makes the product balanced, not just heavy on EPA for one thing. The 720mg EPA to 480mg DHA split works for everyday use, not some narrow focus.

The triglyceride form is a nice touch. Fish oil comes in different forms, and t

Key Highlights

  • 1,300mg total omega-3s per 2-softgel serving — this is what really counts, more than just 'fish oil' totals. It means you're getting solid EPA and DHA, not puffed-up labels with weak oil.
  • 720mg EPA — a strong daily amount of the omega-3 that helps with inflammation and recovery. EPA nudges your body's signals toward less inflammation, which is why serious gym folks keep fish oil in their routine all year.
  • 480mg DHA — a good dose of the omega-3 that's key for brain, eye, and nerve structure. DHA also helps keep cell membranes flexible, improving how your body communicates and functions.
  • Balanced EPA:DHA setup — not geared for just one thing. The 720:480 ratio works for heart health, brain support, eye health, and workout recovery.
  • Triglyceride form — like the natural stuff in fish. It's better than cheap low-grade oils for quality, absorption, and how it feels.
  • Nitrogen-barrier processing — omega-3s can go bad easily, causing that gross fishy burp. This protection keeps the oil fresh and easier to take.
  • Just 2 softgels per serving — high strength without a pile of pills. Makes it simple to stick with, and that's what gets you the long-term wins.
  • Full disclosure on key stuff — you see exactly how much total omega-3, EPA, and DHA you're getting. In a world of brands hiding weak doses behind big fish oil claims, this transparency is huge.

Core Omega by Core Nutritionals contains 1300mg Total Omega-3s, a effective dose for health and performance.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters in big volume phases wanting recovery help beyond the gym, not another pre. 720mg EPA and 480mg DHA support inflammation balance and cell health when soreness and joints start acting up.
  • Strength folks in long cycles who know performance needs good tissue and recovery. 1,300mg omega-3s deliver a real dose, not weak stuff needing extra pills for decent EPA+DHA.
  • Combat or field athletes taking hits and full-body stress. DHA's great for nerve structure, EPA helps inflammation after rough sessions.
  • Busy types training around work who want heart, brain, and recovery in one. Beats guessing if your cheap store oil with low EPA is worth it.
  • Folks over 40 still going hard but recovery's slower. Fish oil's a simple add for heart, inflammation, and mobility, with serious EPA+DHA in two softgels.
  • People on multis and protein but skipping fatty acids. This fills the hole with clear EPA and DHA, not vague 'heart oils' talk.

How to Use

Take 2 softgels daily, best with a meal. One with fat helps absorption and comfort. No need to time with workouts—EPA and DHA are for daily wins, not pre-gym. If new to fish oil or sensitive, start with 1 softgel with food for a few days, then go to 2. Skip empty stomach if burps bug you. Stacks well with creatine, protein, multis, and joint stuff since it covers fatty acid gaps without overlap. No cycling. Keep in cool, dry spot; bigger meal can help if aftertaste is an issue.

What to Expect

First 1-3 days, it's all about ease: simple softgels, no buzz, clean if taken with food. Week 1, no big feel since omega-3s build into cells over time, not like quick boosters. By weeks 2-4, you might notice smoother recovery, easier joints, less stiffness from training and sitting. Over 4-8 weeks, it clicks: recovery's steady, wellness feels solid, and it locks in as a keeper. Stop after getting used to it, and you'll miss the background work it does.

Key Ingredients

Frequently Asked Questions

How much EPA and DHA are in Core Nutritionals Omega?

Each 2-softgel serving provides 720mg EPA and 480mg DHA, for a total of 1,300mg omega-3s. Those are the numbers that matter most in a fish oil formula, because EPA and DHA are the primary active fatty acids linked to cardiovascular, recovery, and cognitive benefits.

Is 1,300mg total omega-3s a strong dose?

Yes. For a general daily fish oil, 1,300mg total omega-3s with 720mg EPA and 480mg DHA is a meaningful serving, especially in only two softgels. Many mainstream fish oils look large on the front label but provide much lower actual EPA+DHA content.

What is the benefit of the triglyceride form in this product?

Triglyceride-form fish oil is generally considered a premium form because it more closely matches the natural form found in fish. It is a quality marker in the category and is often preferred for absorption and overall user experience compared with cheaper lower-end alternatives.

When should I take Core Nutritionals Omega?

Take it daily with a meal. Timing around training is not important because omega-3s work through consistent long-term intake, not immediate acute effects.

Will I feel this product right away?

Not in the way you feel caffeine or a pump product. Fish oil works gradually by being incorporated into cell membranes and influencing inflammatory and structural pathways over time, so the payoff is usually noticed over weeks of consistent use.

Can I stack Core Nutritionals Omega with creatine and protein?

Yes. Fish oil complements both well because it supports recovery, inflammation balance, and cell health, while creatine supports phosphocreatine availability and protein supports muscle repair. There is no redundancy between them.

Does this product help with joint comfort?

It is commonly used for that purpose, especially because EPA helps support a healthier inflammatory balance. It is not a direct joint-repair formula, but many active adults use omega-3s to help make training-related stiffness and day-to-day wear feel more manageable.

Is Core Nutritionals Omega beginner-friendly?

Yes. This is one of the easiest categories to add to a routine because there are no stimulants, no loading phase, and no complicated timing requirements. The key is simply taking it consistently.

Does Core Nutritionals Omega contain a proprietary blend?

No proprietary blend is present in the verified active formula we have. The key omega-3 metrics are clearly disclosed: total omega-3s, EPA, and DHA.

Who should be cautious with this fish oil?

Anyone with a fish allergy, anyone using anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications, and anyone preparing for surgery should speak with a healthcare professional before use. Those considerations are tied to the fish source and the physiological effects of omega-3 fatty acids.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Enchanting
Format: Kindle
"Queen of Roses" by Briar Boleyn is a delightful and refreshing reimagining of the classic tale of King Arthur, with a captivating twist that places the spotlight on Morgan, a character who has often been overshadowed in traditional retellings. Boleyn's creative decision to shift the narrative perspective to Morgan breathes new life into the story, offering readers an intriguing and compelling look at the Arthurian world from an entirely different angle. One of the most commendable aspects of this book is its incorporation of Fae elements, which adds an enchanting layer of magic and mystery to the already familiar Arthurian setting. Boleyn skillfully weaves the world of the Fae into the narrative, creating a captivating backdrop against which the events of the story unfold. This addition not only adds depth to the world-building but also provides ample opportunities for twists and turns that keep readers thoroughly engrossed. However, while the book boasts numerous strengths, it does have one noticeable flaw: the characterization of Morgan. While it is reasonable to create a flawed and complex protagonist, it appears that at times, Morgan's character becomes overly difficult and hard to relate to. Her persistently negative perception of one of the main male characters, who is a potential love interest, despite his efforts to support and assist her, may come across as somewhat irrational and could test the patience of some readers. Striking a balance between a strong, independent character and one who can recognize genuine support and affection could have enhanced the overall reader experience. Nonetheless, the allure of "Queen of Roses" lies in its innovative approach to the Arthurian legend and its skillful blending of fantasy elements into a familiar narrative. Boleyn's evocative prose draws readers into a world where magic, destiny, and fate entwine, leaving us eager to uncover the mysteries that unfold within the pages. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
