Filipo met his Belgian wife, Nancy while she was backpacking through Italy. They ran a Sicilian Restaurant in Belgium for many years before deciding to head home and start his own project (starting with a mentorship from Frank Cornelisson!).
This is 100% Vermentino from Sicily! It has two days of skin-contact, just enough to add a touch of texture. It is aged 12 months in old neutral barrels. It has a Sicilian saltiness, olive notes with citrus, almond and southern italian herbs.
