The Box can be treated with water-based exterior varnish to extend life, if desired. A recycled plastic hanger allows it to be fixed to tree post or wall.
The entrance hole should face between North and South east to avoid chicks over heating.
Clean out old nesting material in Autumn Nest box opens for cleaning by unscrewing top screw (in screw cup) on hanger and swivelling the lid.
Birds will rebuild nest with nesting materials of their choice in early Spring from February onwards. Perfect for all gardens, conservation areas and rewilding projects
