It is owned and operated by Diageo and primarily used for blended whisky in the Diageo portfolio. Released as a single malt as part of Diageos Rare Malts to increase the visibility of the distillery. The distillery boasts six large stills which distill unpeated malt and produce a whisky that is primarily for the US markets.

The distillery boasts six large stills which distill unpeated malt and produce a whisky that is primarily for the US markets. Usually bottled as The Singleton of Glendullan.
This single malt whisky was distilled in 2009 at the Glendullan distillery in Speyside. It was placed in a two ex Bourbon Hogsheads and left to mature for 12 years. In 2022 it was bottled at 46% abv as part of the Signatory Vintage Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Signatory Vintage are an independent bottler founded in 1988 by Andrew and Brian Symington. The name ‘Signatory’ was derived from the initial intention to find a person of suitable standing to sign the labels for bottles drawn from a single cask. The first cask bottled was a 1968 Glenlivet which quickly sold through long before any suitable signee could be found.
Signatory currently bottle at three strengths: 43%, 46% Unchillfiltered (UCF) and Cask Strength. To add proof of authenticity to their cask strength bottlings, Signatory always include the cask numbers, date of distillation, date of bottling and number of bottles produced.
Nose - Orange peel and butterscotch candies, touch of freshly toasted oak.
Palate - Orchard fruits, vanilla with toasted coconut.
Finish - Dried fruits, citrus peel and chocolate.
