For smaller Kamados, they can be cut to size using sharp scissors and should overlap by around 15 20mm when installed. The existing gasket will need to be removed and any old residue scraped away. For smaller Kamados, they can be cut to size using sharp scissors and should overlap by around 15 - 20mm when installed.

The existing gasket will need to be removed and any old residue scraped away.

The surface will also need to be completely clean, degreased and dry before applying the new gasket.

To give you an idea of how far this will go, I've listed a few examples below.

• Kamado Joe Junior: Diameter: 16" Inches / 41cm, so for a new gasket for top and bottom, you'd need 260cm, so in this kit you almost have enough to do a Joe Junior twice.
• Kamado Joe Classic Series 1, 2 or 3: Diameter: 22.5" Inches / 57cm, so for a new gasket for top and bottom, you'd need 360cm leaving about 1.2 metres left over for repairs / adjustments later.
• Kamado Joe Big Joe Series 1, 2 or 3: Diameter: 28" Inches / 71cm, so for a new gasket for top and bottom, you'd need 450cm leaving about 30cm left over for repairs / adjustments later.

This gasket includes a scraper tool and a wire brush for helping in removing the old residue.
