Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana Gentle by BSN Medical offers its unique hydration response technology within a three-dimensional wound dressing to support granulation tissue development. The design minimizes contact area in the wound bed thus eliminating the need for a wound contact layer. The gentle 3D dressing protects the delicate tissue to minimize trauma during dressing changes making it ideal for individuals with pain or contact sensitivities. Sorbion Sana Gentle is hypoallergenic to make it an ideal option for those with sensitive skin as well.
Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana Gentle dressing's hydration response technology is on both sides of the dressing which allows high amounts of exudate to be absorbed. It then locks it in to remove harmful agents and prevent skin maceration that slows down healing. In addition, the dressing works exceptionally well in wound beds with different stages of healing including dry epitheliazation islands to areas with large exudate. The dressing can be worn up to seven days to improve healing rate and be a cost-effective wound dressing.
