As mentioned, it is made of Hydrafort 5000 fabric, a specialized fabric from Regatta that is both waterproof and windproof. 5000 refers to the hydrostatic head of the fabric - it means that the fabric can hold a column of water 5000mm tall.
The outer jacket also has a hood that can be concealed in the collar. Moving on to the inner jacket, it is made of fleece - a man-made product named after the classic one from sheep. Fleece is incredible for generating warmth since it is able to hold small air pockets. The Regatta fleece on this jacket is also water resistant.
