Backstory. The BE@RBRICK name is derived from its cartoonish bear shape and the fact that it's a variation of MEDICOM TOY's Kubrick toy design. One of the most iconic of Bond’s gadgets arrived in Thunderball (1965): as 007 escapes from the roof of a SPECTRE-infested château, he deploys his special-issue jetpack to take to the skies and evade his adversaries once more.
Detail. The set contains two BE@RBRICK figures, the 100% and 400% sizes, of Sean Connery's Bond dressed in his iconic suit and jetpack from Thunderball. The figures are comprised of nine parts: a head, torso, hips with jointed arms, hands and legs that move. Each can stand independently or can be arranged in a range of positions. Made from 100% plastic. Clean by wiping with a clean, dry cloth.
Dimensions. 100% figure is H7cm, 400% is H28cm
Maker. Established in Japan in 1996, MEDICOM TOY designs and produces collectible character figures with the ethos of “making things that we want rather than product development based on marketing”.
