About the Producer: 

Cims de Porrera was founded in the 1990s with a clear purpose: to keep old vines in the ground, support local farming families, and show what this rugged landscape is capable of when individual sites are allowed to speak for themselves.

Managed by the Pérez Ovejero family and working out of Porrera’s agricultural cooperative, the project is built around paying growers a fair price for their fruit. The vineyards, many of them over 70 years old, are spread across steep, slate-covered slopes and cared for by a small group of local wine-growing families, each contributing to a shared vision rooted in place and continuity.
