Discontinuity to Continuity: A Survey of Dispensational and Covenantal TheologiesThe question of how to relate the Old and New Testaments is as old as the Bible itself. The question of how to relate the Old and New Testaments is as old as the Bible itself. While most Protestants are unified on the foundations, there are major disagreements on particular issues. Who should be baptized? Is the Christian obligated to obey the Law of Moses? Does the church supplant Israel? Who are the proper recipients of God’s promises to Israel? In Discontinuity to Continuity, Benjamin Merkle brings light to the debates between dispensational and covenantal theological systems. Merkle identifies how Christians have attempted to relate the Testaments, placing viewpoints along a spectrum of discontinuity to continuity. Each system’s concerns are sympathetically summarized and critically evaluated. Through his careful exposition of these frameworks, Merkle helps the reader understand the key issues in the debate. Providing more light than heat, Merkle’s book will help all readers better appreciate other perspectives and articulate their own.

______________

Benjamin L. Merkle (PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is professor of New Testament and Greek at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is coauthor of Going Deeper with New Testament Greek and Greek for Life.

______________

‘We all know that we understand specific verses better if we have a good understanding of the larger landscape and context of the Bible. But what larger perspective is correct? Ben Merkle takes us on a wonderfully instructive tour of six different theological systems. He describes objectively each view and then provides an assessment of each position. I believe this is one of the most useful books on the market today. Students, pastors, and professors will have a better grasp of various theological options that have proven convincing to evangelicals. A most important contribution!’ Thomas Schreiner, James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY

Finally, a Spice Rack That Fixes the Real Problem—Access Without the Hassle
Item Package Quantity: 2
I am pleasantly surprised at how handy this spice rack is!! This iSPECLE pull-out spice rack does that others rarely deliver... makes your daily routine just that much easier. The biggest win here is access. No longer having to rummage through a messy cabinet or knock over jars to retrieve whatever you’re looking for. With everything just sliding out and coming up right in front of you. The idea is simple, but it creates a difference. There's your strong point here: the no-drill, peel-and-stick installation. It’s simple and time-saving, which is something. That being said, it still needs to be installed correctly. Use a clean surface, pressure, and time to set. Do that, and it holds well. Overlook that step, and you’ll be blaming the product when it’s all set up for you. The adjustable height is practical, especially if you’re working with a mix of 4oz and 8oz spice jars. It’s not flashy, but it offers a solution to the same annoying problem: trying to cram mismatched containers into a rigid system. What impresses me the most is that it provides some order rather than making things ever murkier. It’s not looking to reinvent your kitchen. It takes a common frustration (buried spices in dark cabinets) and makes it neat and clean for practicality's sake. Bottom line: If your cabinet seems like a black hole of spices, this is an easy, straightforward solution. Not anything fancy, just smart design and it works!

Be Mindful Of The Height
Item Package Quantity: 2
So this spice rack is amazing, if you know what you're getting. I have had a similar one in the past that was just one level. It was great and made organization easy. This being two levels tall means you have to take that into account because it's going to change the shelve layout in your spice cabinet. It wasn't a problem for me and still ended up being a net positive for making the most out of the space, but my friend bought the same ones and ended up sending them back because they wouldn't fit into his smaller cabinet. If you are aware of that going in and know it's going to work for you, they are amazing. They slide smoothly, they hold a ton, and make getting to the items in the back infinitely better. Decent price for such a huge quality of life improvement for my kitchen.

Didn't entirely save me from the mess, but it got close!
Item Package Quantity: 2, Item Package Quantity: 2
I set these up in my little mini pantry that is admittedly a bit of a mess before AND after, but now it's an organized mess that I can navigate with a bit more ease. It fits well in the space that I have, and the rollers are high quality and feel smooth. If organized chaos speaks to you and you've acknowledged that, this is a great fit!

Spins Well
Easy to assemble. Spins well without sticking. The side rails are helpful in hold bottles in place.
