With their solid, all-steel construction, non-skid treads and tough powder coat finish, RidgeStep running boards are made to finish the job. Installation of these running boards is easy and secure because they use the ARIES VersaTrac mounting system. The underside of each board is equipped with a channel that accepts a set of heavy-duty bracket inserts. The inserts move along the channel to fit your truck, and the mounting hardware provides a secure attachment. These running boards are designed to fit specific years of the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD (NOTE: This set of running boards includes vehicle-specific VersaTrac mounting brackets. See the application information to verify compatibility with your vehicle). ARIES RidgeStep running boards are not only made for easier installation, but they are also built to face the harsh elements of the commercial job. They feature high-strength, solid steel construction for a step that can keep up with those steel-toe boots, and they are completely without plastic parts, meaning they will not crack or fade over time. Their stamped, all-steel tread offers a 6-1/2" wide, non-skid surface that will never wear down no matter how many times you climb in and out of your truck. The end caps are also made from steel and are welded to contour to the body of your truck for a professional finish. I even tried the currently trendy recommendation of wrapping the individual stem ends in plastic wrap to help slow the ripening process. Was very pleased to receive a bunch of 6 small sized bananas, all delicately green and completely beautiful! Beautiful job by the thoughtful delivery person as well, who didn’t just leave the bags in the rain on the (only 2!) steps, but made sure they were under the protection of the porch and not blocking my door. Some items I never order anymore (beloved snap peas and garnet potatoes are two examples) after receiving spoiled items - more than once. Apparently notifying Amazon of our understandable disappointment, not to mention the waste! can sometimes improve the quality of items delivered. I do very much appreciate the Amazon Fresh delivery service in my (rapidly approaching) old age.
