The Tenacious Spirit of the High Alpine

This isn't just a hat; it’s a study in resilience. Featuring a sharp, detailed mountain goat illustration, this charcoal beige dad hat is designed for those who find their soul in the skyline.

Inspired by the sure-footed grit of the alpine, this mountain goat icon captures the technical precision of the peak through an intentional, artistic lens. Every detail—from the front-panel goat to the "Skyline Soul" hand-drawn script on the back—is a tribute to the high country. Designed on premium natural fibers, this piece provides a field-tested, heritage-grade feel for those who find their soul in the elevation.

Behind the Art: Meet Jordan Kempain

Every Kempain Original begins as an original hand-drawn illustration. As the founder of Kempain Family Outfitters, Jordan has been designing and illustrating professionally since 2009. His career began in marketing agencies across Connecticut, New York City, and Washington, D.C., but his real inspiration has always been found beyond the digital canvas.

A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Art School and an active outdoorsman participating in hunting, fishing, and archery, Jordan draws directly from his time spent in the woods of Putnam, Connecticut, to inform every stroke of his pen.

"I wanted to create a brand where art and the wild come together—featuring graphics that stand out from the crowd," says Jordan. "By prioritizing original sketches over mass-produced clip art, we ensure every design carries a personal touch that reflects the adventurous spirit of the person wearing it."

The Originals: Authentic Art for the Wild

Kempain Family Outfitters was born where art and the wild converge.

  • Made-to-Order: The brand operates on a "Buy Less, Buy Better" philosophy. Every piece is created specifically for you to ensure quality and reduce waste.
  • No Shortcuts: Kempain maintains a strict policy against mass production, clip art, or off-the-shelf AI-generated graphics.
  • Heart & Quality: As a small, family-run business, the team infuses every sketch with creativity—ensuring the "mark of the maker" follows you into the field.

Why You’ll Love It

  • 100% Natural Cotton: Prioritizing breathability and a durable, field-tested feel over synthetic alternatives.
  • Signature Studio Detail: Original hand-drawn mountain goat and back-panel script, preserving the integrity of the studio’s professional lines.
  • Heritage-Grade Finish: A distressed, broken-in aesthetic that offers a comfortable, lived-in feel from day one.
  • Field-Ready Comfort: An unstructured, low-profile build with an adjustable closure for all-day reliability on the climb.

I loved the switch!
New Yorker Haley found herself on a remote Australian cattle station working as a Jillaroo. One of her roommates is veteran rancher Jenna who is to show her the ropes as part of the contract with this fully paid "switch!". They soon find out that Haley is the worst Jillaroo ever, but she tries very hard and never gives up. I loved all the Aussie terms and descriptions and felt comfortably immersed in the Outback experience! Cheyenne wrote a beautiful story that was serious, yet humorous, filled with very enjoyable characters. I also enjoyed the way in which she crafted their love story and the way in which Haley became a part of the ranch's community. Well done, Cheyenne. This book was totally enjoyable!

Fascinating journey …
Beautifully written piece about Jenna and Hayley’s finding love and the contentment of home. It’s interesting being a part of two women’s journey to each other. Actually, it’s a gift. The secondary characters were equally as strong and very relatable. I enthusiastically, heartily, and unequivocally recommend this and all of Cheyenne Blue’s works. Her writing style pulls you in and doesn’t release you until the epilogue. Even then, I will sit with this account of a beautiful relationship between two strong warriors and the community in which they live for some time. Thank you. Peace. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💕🐾

Another awesome read from Cheyenne Blue!
I loved this book! I wanted to read it as soon as I heard the premise. The idea of taking the chance to be tossed into who knows what setting, even with money involved, is an adventure I would never have the courage to do - but it makes for a fantastic and entertaining story. After winning a "life swap" competition, Hayley, a NYC short order cook and bar tender has to go to the Australian Outback as a jilleroo; talk about a fish out of water! She is mentored by Jenna, experienced ranch hand. The development of their relationship as well as Hayley's evolution as a jillaroo is so much fun to follow along. Add in a great cast of characters, some glitches in the whole life swap arrangement, the beautifully described setting and a hard earned happy ending, and you end up with another awesome read from Cheyenne!
