De Gibson M2M '60 Les Paul Standard BOTB pg. 151 Murphy Lab Light Aged is, net als zijn broertje van pagina 138, een eerbetoon aan "Beauty of the Burst" van Yasuhiko Iwanade. Dit exemplaar is een nauwkeurige recreatie van de gitaar op pagina 151 van dat legendarische boek, een van de mooiste documentaties van de originele 1958-1960 Les Paul Standards. Elke detail, van de top figuring tot de finish, is afgestemd op het origineel.

M2M (Made to Measure) gitaren worden op aanvraag gebouwd met specificaties die buiten het standaard Custom Shop aanbod vallen. De Murphy Lab Light Aged behandeling geeft de gitaar net genoeg patina om authentiek aan te voelen: subtiele checking in de nitrolak, licht verouderd nikkelbeslag en een speelgevoel dat doet denken aan een ingespeeld vintage instrument. De toon van een '60 Les Paul is iets slanker en feller dan de '59, dankzij het dunnere halsprofiel van dat jaar.

Voor de liefhebber die de exacte gitaar van pagina 151 wil spelen. Geleverd met hardshell case en Certificate of Authenticity.
