Built in 1636, La Couronne is reputed to have been France's first great ship. Cardinal Richelieu personally supervised her decoration and fitting out. Ornamentation was designed and created by the most famous craftsmen and artists of her day.
One look at Corel's La Couronne ship model kit and you"ll think you"re back in the splendor of 17th century France. Sculptured ornamentation, figurehead, stern lanterns and other sculptured ornaments are beautifully gilded metal. Blocks, deadeyes, belaying pins, gratings and cannon carriages are walnut. Her 64 cannon and many other fittings are solid brass. Double plank-on-bulkhead construction uses laser-cut poplar for frames and keel. Planking is done with thin strips of walnut and limewood. Masts, deck and display cradle and other wooden parts are fashioned from tanganyka, beech, mahogany, and maple. Twelve sheets of plans and step-by-step instructions make for trouble-free construction..

Easy to understand
This is a great modern version of the New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and Song of Songs. After buying one for myself, I bought one for a friend. She and I both love using it for Bible study. I plan to buy the Old Testament books they have versions for as well. I include a photo of a portion of 1 Corinthians 13, so you can see how it compares to other versions. Also, at the beginning of each book, there is an at-a-glance section, about section and a couple more pages with info about the book and context. There are notes at the bottom of each page to show similar translations for the words or an explanation of what its context is.

The Passion Translation (TPT)
I really appreciate the translation of this Bible. After using only the KJV all my growing up years, I am learning so much from this Passion Translation as it has study references to refer to for more help in addition to the helpful verse Translation. It does NOT have the Old Testament included but Psalms, Proverbs, and Song of Solomon is included.

It's wonderful. Please buy it. You'll love it
I'm a regular bible reader. Through this Bible, God was able to blow my mind and bring me to tears multiple times. My husband and I open it to Ephesians 1:1 and read 3 chapters. (Received it yesterday). By the time we stopped we started thinking of all the people in our lives who need a copy. We will be buying them as gifts, a couple or so, every paycheck till everyone I know has a copy. Somehow when you read this, even though it says the same thing as other versions, the way it says it, brings it to light and it goes straight to your heart. You have to read it to see what I mean. If you're on the fence about getting it, please get it. You will not regret it. It's worth it. It's also very good quality but I didn't care about that. I care about it speaking straight to your heart and soul.
