The 1/4" Outer Diameter, 1000' Black Nylon Tubing is a highly versatile and durable thermoplastic tubing made from Nylon 12. This tubing is well-suited for applications requiring flexibility, strength, and resistance to various chemicals, oils, fuels, and other challenging environmental factors. Nylon 12 tubing is recognized as an industry standard for applications which require higher working pressures and higher heat and/or chemical resistance. It is ideal for outdoor use applications because of its superior stress crack resistance. Nylon 12 is strong, lightweight and has a very low moisture absorption rate compared to other nylons. By not absorbing moisture, Nylon 12 remains more flexible, which in turn extends its service life. Nylon 12 tubing can be used with standard push-to-connect fittings and compression fittings for simple installation. Because of its semi-rigid properties, a thinner tube wall provides higher flow rates and working pressure.
