These are hardworking Locking Motors and are great for operating older/classic cars. This kit uses negative lock and unlocks signals from a remote alarms/immobilisers to mechanically operated the lock mechanism of a car door

Electro-Mechanical activation
Lock and unlock all doors by operation by Right front door
Operation of Master and slave actuators

Each kit uses a master actuator for Right front door, and a slave actuator for the front left & all rear doors (4 in total) with 1 Master actuator control all actuators.

4 x Slave 8kg Black power Motor
5 x Metal brackets
5 x 3-point fixing clamps slot/cross screws,
5 x Rods
1 x Switch Controller Module

ATT: Remote Controls are not supplied in this kit but can be added to this system. Remote Keyless Entry

 

Operating voltage: +9VDC to +15VDC

Operating temperature
-20 degrees to +85 degrees for equipment designed to be installed within vehicle cabin

Polarity protection
The system circuitry is design to protect itself against accidental battery polarity reversal. This can happen when replacing the vehicle battery

Short circuit protection
The power supply wire to the system is protected against an internal fault within the system

Current rating
All relays rated to carry 15amps continuous, connector 8amps continuous

Fit is perfect and these have a very nice glossy finish, which looks much better than the matte finish. As others have said, the driver's side grill lacks a cut out where the hood latch pull handle swings out when you need to lift the hood (compare the driver's side grill with the existing grill to see location and size of the cut out). I was able to cut an opening within 10 minutes and I haven't had any problems opening the hood since the installation.

The fitment isn't perfect like the OEM grilles, but overall I was satisfied. These are just slightly smaller than the originals so there is a little play once installed. No need to modify the LH side grille for clearance to the hood latch though as other reviews mention. It looks like the design has been revised to address that problem. I was impressed with the paint finish and there weren't any noticeable blemishes like dust or dirt in the paint. These are probably the best and cheapest gloss black kidney grilles for E46 that are currently available. OEM grilles w/ gloss black are basically discontinued so we're all stuck with aftermarket if you want the gloss black shadowline look.

Although not oem quality was expected, but I never thought to throw them away either. Grills look very nice, outside quality is good. Unfortunately the grills do not fit to its place and slip just after you close the hood. After several tries to make them stay in place I have broken 2 clamps. Finally I have removed these grills and went on with OEM ones. Also, pay attention that you must drill a space for hood lock on the inner side (driver side grill does not have the factory space for hood lock handle).
