From his late teens onward, Snow used photography - most notably Polaroids - to chronicle his days and nights of excess, capturing moments he often claimed he might not otherwise remember. As these photographs began circulating in exhibitions in the early 2000s, Snow quickly rose to art-world prominence alongside peers such as Dan Colen and Ryan McGinley. Together, they helped define a raw, diaristic photographic language rooted in youth, freedom, recklessness, and self destruction - an era later remembered for its speed, volatility, and abandon.
