BD Diamond Bite Shims with a diamond embedded electroless nickel coating create a micro-bite between the flexplate surfaces giving a significant friction increase. This friction increase stops your flexplate from slipping, allowing it to handle the much higher torque loads expected from a diesel engine. Disregard my first review since then I realized that I didn't have the usb cable pushed in far enough for a connection which stopped the item from charging and that's why it stopped working. The most worthless item I've purchased

Do Not Buy This Product.
this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work.
worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.
