Backstory.  Produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, the 2015 film stars Daniel Craig in his fourth turn as James Bond 007 and is directed by Sam Mendes, returning for his second film in the series. Following his work on Skyfall, Newman was recruited for another epic Bond mission, and he delivers above and beyond – scoring Spectre with a rich orchestral depth that mines fresh, emotional dimensions of drama, suspense, action and mystery, all the while honoring the classic Bond music traditions.

Details.  Expanded with never before released music, this is a revelatory presentation of Newman’s expertly crafted score and includes Sam Smith's powerful Oscar-winning song, "Writing's On The Wall." 

Produced by Neil S. Bulk and mastered by Doug Schwartz from Simon Rhodes's original 24-bit digital stereo mixes, this 2-CD release, includes a two hour "Score Presentation", presenting the music in chronological film sequence. The "Additional Music" section showcases unique Original Soundtrack Album edits as well as an alternate cue and a source cue. The release includes exclusive, in-depth liner notes by journalist and author Jon Burlingame. Combined length of the double CD is 2 hours, 88 minutes, 20 seconds.
