Stealth Tuned Low Profile Antenna for VHF is a small, powerful antenna, ideal for use when travelling with a caravan or offroad vehicle. This antenna provides clear transmit and receive communications within a few miles and offers the ultimate distance when switched to the VHF-1/2W-SPR antenna. Caution is advised not to operate radio without the antenna to avoid damage. With its super low profile, Stealth fits in toyhaulers or other low clearance areas, without getting snagged by low branches or brush, which makes it optimal for trail rides. This antenna is 3.25in tall, has a standard NMO mount, and operates at 150-158 MHz with 2 dB Gain. Options for mounting locations include GROUND PLANE version for metal surfaces such as steel or aluminium roofs, and NON-GROUND PLANE versions for non-metallic surfaces or tab mounting on a roll cage, fender, or mirror brackets.
