This coating is what gives Bubba Rope its water, abrasion, and UV resistant properties and ultimately, a longer life span. Due to the Gator-ize coating being an elastic polymer, it also allows the rope to stretch and flex an additional 30-35%! Love the Gaines Family treats, but this one made my 22lb dog deathly ill for 5 days. We feared we would lose him as nothing would stop the diarrhea and retching. He couldn’t even make it through the night without multiple trips outdoors.
