The Stone Creek Willow Creel with Web Strap is a traditional trout basket made the way they've always been made — hand-woven from split willow, then lacquered for durability so it stands up to a season of real use. The willow itself does the work of keeping a catch cool, absorbing water without breaking down the way modern materials never quite manage.
This is the working version of the classic creel. The leather latch strap with rust-resistant buckles handles years of opening and closing on the bank. The comfortable web shoulder strap rides easy on a long walk to the truck. The top opening is wide enough to drop a fish in quickly without fumbling. Sixteen inches carries plenty for a day on the water.
