Produced from 1983 to 1991, the BOSS HM-2 Heavy Metal is a true legend in the history of distortion pedals. Its signature “chainsaw tone” with all knobs maxed is the defining voice of Swedish death metal, and the slightly milder sides of its personality can be heard on tracks from mainstream to shoegaze. This sale is for a Boss HM-2. It has the black MIJ label. It was built during June, 1984. The serial number can be found in the battery compartment. It is 437700.

Condition:

 

  • This is a used unit. 

  • This unit is in good condition, it shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. It looks like it had a battery leak in the past which was contained to the battery compartment only. All internal PCB were not affected and do not have any signs of corrosion. One knob is from a different boss pedal. Please see all photos.

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested. We can confirm it is 100% functional. All controls work as they should. 

  • This pedal can be powered off a 9V battery or a 12V negative centre power adaptor. A generic power supply will be included for Australian and New Zealand buyers. No batteries are included. 

  • This sale is for the HM-2 pedal and PSU (AU & NZ only). Nothing else is included in this sale.

My Doberman (80 pounds in 7 months) puppy absolutely loved this ball. He loves anything noise making so this ball was perfect. Unfortunately, about 2 hours of nonstop play the cover was falling apart. There was no saving in. My pup is rough on toys and this one couldn’t handle it. I let him play without the cover for a little bit but the plastic is VERY hard. I’m not sure what type of plastic it is, but it’s very hard, no your average plastic. So I have a sad puppy and a lighter pocketbook. It was fun while it lasted.

The ball is still intact, the soft cover still on it, so our corgi never got to the squeaker - it just stopped making sound.
