Like all the nestboxes in our Eco range, this box is made from 100% recycled plastic and FSC certified OSB made from waste wood. The plastic is all from the UK and recycled here; much of it is from farms. It's ideal for the outer shell of the nestboxes; tough, UV stabilised, durable, and attractive in your garden. These boxes should last over 20 years. They're slotted together, so no fixings or glue.

The inner strand board chamber insulates the nest. It's easily removed for cleaning and installation. The box was designed by professional ornithologists, so you would expect it to have high occupancy. It's particularly appropriate for many of our most common garden birds.

Box options

We supply the box with 3 different sized entrance holes, to suit many small birds in the garden:

25mm: Blue Tit, Coal Tit and Marsh Tit

28mm: Great Tit, Crested Tit and Tree Sparrow

32mm: Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Marsh Tit, House Sparrow, Great Tit, Nuthatch and Pied Flycatcher
