There are four LEDS on the battery to indicate the charge level of the battery. Simply press the button to see how much battery life is left.

FAQs

Question: What tools can I use this battery in?

A: This battery will fit in any of the tools from the AK System. However, it is the recommended battery for the FSA 57 trimmer and the HSA 56 hedge trimmer. The other tools in the range use more power. So either the AK 20 or AK 30 batteries, which have a higher capacity, will be more suitable for the other tools.

Question: How long does it take to charge?

A: Using the AL 101 charger, you can fully charge this battery in 80 minutes or you can charge it to 80% in 55 minutes.

Question: Can I charge it any quicker?

A: We make two fast chargers, the AL 300 and AL 500. The AL 300 will charge this battery to full capacity in 45 minutes.

Tips

#1 Looking after your battery

Don't use a damp or wet battery in your tools and avoid using them in extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold). 

#2 Storing your battery

Take your battery out of the tool you have used it in and store it separately in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight and ideally in some packaging, such as cardboard, to protect it, at a temperature between -10°C and 50°C. Don't forget to keep it out of reach of children.
