Average Winter rainfall and a dry Spring checked initial vine growth and reduced disease
pressure in the vineyard. Budburst and flowering occurred in line with the long term average
in mid-September. Thankfully, stable dry conditions occurred at flowering resulting in
excellent fruit set. The dry, stable conditions continued throughout Summer with rainfall
being up to 80% lower than averages. January experienced 14 consecutive days over 30ºC
but thankfully nothing over 40°C. With access to both recycled and artesian water and were
able to develop the vines carefully with controlled irrigation.  February was generally cool
and mild and grapes were harvested in pristine condition.  Wines from this vintage are lively,
aromatic and vibrant with delicious dark berry flavours and spice, finishing with resounding
length and delicacy.
 WINEMAKING
Hand-picked in early March, the whole bunches of Shiraz were chilled prior to hand sorting
to ensure only pristine fruit in the ferment. In our Vintage House, 25% whole bunches were
placed in the fermenter and  the remainder was destemmed and crushed on top. The must
was then cold soaked at 10°C, for 3 days before being allowed to warm to 20°C. Fermentation
was initiated by indigenous yeasts from our 100 year old winery. The small fermenters were
hand plunged daily and gently pumped over every few days. As the ferment reached
completion we donned the waders and jumped in to crush the remaining berries on the
bottom of the tank.
Once the ferment had finished, the skins were protected from oxidation by a blanket of CO2
for 3 days of extended maceration. Pressed using our old wooden basket press, with the
pressing wine added back to the free run. The wine was then racked to large new, 2nd and 3rd
fill French oak puncheons for 14 months. The best barrels were selected in July 2020 and the
wine was bottled without filtration or fining.
TASTING NOTE
Inky rich purple with intense magenta hues. Spice and forest floor followed by bitter
chocolate and white pepper. Concentrated plum and red berry notes with spice and black
fruits. Restrained at first but with airing rich intense fruit flavours are framed by great
structure with cedar and dark plums closing out

No challenge once they figure it out once, or if they have a long nose
Color: Blue
The first time I used this with my 9 month old Shepard mix, it was great. We used about 1/3 cup of her kibble and added the Nook to make it harder. It kept her working for 20-30 minutes. However, now that she knows how to remove the Nook, and stick her snout into the opening and lick up the kibble, it lasts about 5 minutes, and is no longer a challenge. She still enjoys playing with this, even when it is empty, and hasn't it destroyed it yet, so for that 3 stars.

Buy it — it’ll be your dogs best friend!
Color: Orange
Best treat toy ever! In the beginning of 2025 I bought this for my 12yr old Alaskan Malamute who loves puzzles and brain games. She loved it and played with it every day. Sadly, she passed middle of this year. Now in December, I have purchased this toy again for my newly adopted 10 month Great Dane puppy. Again, it’s an absolute hit! My Dane eats very fast, so I actually use this as a way to break up her meals. I put about half her meal (freeze dried raw kibble) in her slow feeder bowl and fill this toy about two times to feed her the other half. Also, we are crate training and before I leave the house I put treats in this toy and leave it in the crate with her. She has bad separation anxiety, but this toy actually seems to help calm her down because she enjoys it so much. I have bought many treat toys — this one is supreme. It’s not too loud or too difficult for the dogs to play with. So far it has held up without being chewed apart. It’s good quality, great size (orange for large breeds) and honestly, worth every penny.

Well made dog toy
Color: Blue
The snoops are great for our active labrador. He is a very aggressive chewer, and so far, has not destroyed a snoop yet. He has mulitples. They are a great size for filling with treats or kibble and they keep him engaged in the activity. He even likes to carry them when he does his zoomies sometimes. They are lightweight and sturdy, and the material is nice and flexible. Great toy / puzzle ball to have around for your pup!

Great for mental stimulation. Durable for my chewers!
Color: Purple Lil Snoop, Color: Purple Lil Snoop
Love these! Quality material, safe for dogs — I make my dogs home made freezer treats and fill these up with it, and serve. Keeps them busy for hours. It’s also fun for them to roll it around to get regular treats out of. Toy + treats = a very happy pup. This size I got for my puppy. The larger ones I use for my adult dogs. Super cute too, and silent! I have Mini Aussies, so it’s great mental stimulation for them. Tires them out.

Very durable
Color: Blue
I have never written a review but just have to say how much our Pitbull LOVES this toy. It is very sturdy very good since he is such an aggressive chewer. This is only the second product I have found that he can’t destroy in 5 minutes. It keeps him busy for a long time and plays with it long after the treats are gone which is good as too many treats and he would gain weight. Highly recommend it. He weighes 70 lbs and the largest one is the perfect size. Kibble doesn’t work as it empties out immediately. I use Beggin Strips cut to size just to fit in the hole—they will come out but not all at once and survive his chewing on the toy.
