The 9000Q is Audiolab’s flagship pre-amplifier, designed to offer outstanding performance and versatile connectivity. The 9000Q will work well with a wide range of power amplifiers but for ultimate performance pair it with Audiolab’s own 9000P power amplifier.

Audiophile ES9038PRO DAC

Fitted with an optimised version of ESS’s top 9038PRO 32-bit Sabre DAC, the 9000Q will maximise all your digital sources. For the ultimate sound quality, connect your computer via the USB-B and enjoy music file playback up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512. There are also two optical and two coaxial connections that can be used for connecting traditional sources like a CD player, network streamer, TV or games console. These inputs will accept Hi-Res music files up to 24-bit/192kHz and benefit from selectable digital filters to optimise the sound quality.

4.3” Full Colour TFT display

The 9000Q features a high quality 4.3” colour TFT display that offers clear access to settings, functions, and other information like volume level, source input, file format, and signal information. The display can also show a VU meter in 'analogue' or 'digital' form or can be dimmed or turned off.

Bluetooth aptX HD for high quality, wireless sound

For top quality, wireless sound, the 9000Q is equipped with Bluetooth aptX HD. Pair with your compatible smartphone, tablet or laptop and enjoy Hi-Res sound quality, wirelessly. Ideal for getting the best sound quality from your premium music services or stored music files, aptX HD gives a more detailed and dynamic sound that’s a huge improvement on regular Bluetooth.

High performance turntable input

Designed to get the very best from your vinyl, the 9000Q’s dedicated turntable input is a match for many standalone phono pre-amps. Thanks to a high-quality, low-noise circuit with precise RIAA equalisation, sophisticated input filtering and an upgraded power supply, every drop of detail that’s dug from a record’s grooves is conveyed with engaging energy and crystal clarity.

Dedicated Headphone Amplifier

The headphone amplifier section in the 9000Q employs current-feedback circuitry with wide bandwidth and high slew rate, ensuring a dynamic, detailed and engaging performance with a wide variety of different headphone types.

State of the Art Book!
This book was recommended to me by my graduate school professor as being the most up-to-date, most inclusive book on trauma therapy that exists today, and that it is! First, it is written in an organized and coherent manner. It is extraordinarily well written and engaging which is amazing for a text of this type. It contains information on just about every subject that a beginning trauma therapist as well as a well-seasoned therapist would want to know! This is an incredible book and my only criticism is that, knowing how much I shall be referring to it, it is only a paperback and I wish it were a hardcover so that it will withstand the test of time in better condition. The price is extraordinarily reasonable when one considers the cost of most textbooks these days. I highly, highly recommend this book as a MUST read for every trauma therapist, or trauma therapist in training. I cannot say enough excellent things about the Briere and Scott text. Buy it. You will not regret it for a moment! In addition, after purchasing the DSM-V, I can say that although this book was written before the DSM-V came out, it dovetails with it extremely well, and is a perfect book to purchase after getting the new DSM-V if you don't already have Principles of Trauma Therapy. It is for anyone who is a mandated reporter also, as I am. Presently, I'm a doctoral candidate in Special Education, and find that this book will be helpful there as well. As a person who has worked directly in Special Education for over 11 years, and have had professional contact with Special Needs children for over thirty years, this book is a must--for anyone who works with children, teens, (or adults who have just disclosed trauma) whether you are in Psychology or Special Education, or any allied field that makes you a mandated reporter. The book is a MUST HAVE.

As a professor teaching post traumatic stress reaction to graduate and undergraduate students, I was looking for a book that hit the basics along with some key pieces regarding assessment, diagnostic criteria, and examples that highlighted some of the subtleties associated with complex trauma. This book is well organized and not too overwhelming for people new and beginning the field and a nice refresher for seasoned clinicians.
