"To grapple with the pervasiveness of American racism, we can always turn to James Baldwin. You cannot help but admire his words in this volume as they remain as relevant today as when they first appeared." --Ibram X. Kendi, author of How to Be an Antiracist In his last book, Baldwin excavates American race relations to expose the hard-to-face, ingrained issues and demands that require a continuous, civic reckoning. With a new forward from Fair Fight Action founder Stacey Abrams. Over twenty-two months in 1979 and 1981 nearly two dozen children were unspeakably murdered in Atlanta despite national attention and outcry; they were all Black. James Baldwin investigated these murders, the Black administration in Atlanta, and Wayne Williams, the Black man tried for the crimes. Because there was only evidence to convict Williams for the murders of two men, the children's cases were closed, offering no justice to the families or the country. Baldwin's incisive analysis implicates the failures of integration as the guilt party, arguing, "There could be no more devastating proof of this assault than the slaughter of the children." As Stacey Abrams writes in her foreword, "The humanity of black children, of black men and women, of black lives, has ever been a conundrum for America. Forty years on, Baldwin's writing reminds us that we have never resolved the core query: Do black lives matter? Unequivocally, the moral answer is yes, but James Baldwin refuses such rhetorical comfort."Shipping Notes

Nice way to organize the sink area
Like the fact it’s not as bulky as my normal dish soap and it has a place for two sponges and the Dawn power wash spray bottle. Makes it tidy around my sink area. Drawbacks, a couple but they may not bother you. While it’s easy to refill, it does have to be done weekly. But I do lots of dishes three times a day, your mileage may vary. It does water spot very easily. We have hard water so that makes it hard to keep things clean but the dispenser does clean very easily. So it’s not too hard to keep it reasonably clean.

Great soap dispenser.
Soap dispenser is very nice. I like the compartment for the sponge and brushes. The only thing that I would like to see is if the spigot on the dispenser could come out a little further away from the bottle. It’s a little bit short. Would still buy again.

Works well but has a flaw in design
The place where we hang the sponge cannot stop water. So when you put the wet sponge the water will drip out.

Reduce counter clutter
This is a really nice organizer for your kitchen sink. The dispenser holds about a cup or so of dish detergent. The open holder can be used for lots of items you might need at your sink - I have my handsoap dispenser in it, so one less thing sitting on the counter. People commented that the sprayer nozzle could be longer/extend further. It could, but it's OK as it is. I like having less on the counter top and this 3-in-1 works well and so far, I'm very happy with it.

Great dispenser but arrived broken.
I love this dispenser. The size is perfect and there is plenty of room to hold sponges and a dish washing brush. The detergent dispenser holds pleanty of detergent. I only gave it a 3 star review because it arrived with a bottom corner broken. It is still usable but the broken part is visible. The packaging was sturdy and there box it arrived in wasn’t dented so I don’t know how the corner broke off.
