The Pyrotect Rugged Radios MIDAIR helmet is an SA2020 rated helmet suitable for off-road, circle track, or kart racing. The unique mid-air inlet location promotes better airflow and allows for more headroom in the vehicle for enhanced safety. It doesn't obstruct the front-facing microphone, thus enabling clearer communication. The helmet is engineered with the Alpha Audio Helmet Kit for excellent in-helmet audio performance. The patented SA2020 MIDAIR composite helmets come equipped with a unique six pad interior system for easy resizing and effective heat transfer. The helmets are vacuum bagged, autoclave cured for strength and durability, yet very lightweight. Features include a 3.5mm earbud jack, a composite tri weave light-weight shell, threaded inserts for neck restraint devices, stainless steel hardware, a Kevlar chinstrap, a removable six pad headliner & cheek pad system, a .125 Polycarbonate shield, a rubber eye port seal, large eye port for visibility, M6 insertion for head neck restraint devices, superior aerodynamics, a fire retardant Nomex interior, and a flat black finish.
