Our Yoshihiro Kurouchi Stainless Clad Knives exemplify the perfect marriage of traditional craftsmanship and modern metallurgy. Featuring a Kurouchi finish on stainless cladding, these knives maintain the rustic aesthetic of a "Black-Forged" blade without the upkeep challenges of high-carbon steel. The stainless cladding not only enhances durability but also protects against moisture while preserving the sharpness and strength of the blade. At their core, the knives are crafted with Blue Steel #2, a premium high-carbon steel with a hardness of 63 on the Rockwell scale, celebrated for its exceptional edge retention and sharpness that withstands prolonged use.

Each knife is complemented by a handcrafted Octagonal Stabilized Maple Burl handle with water buffalo horn bolster (color varies), designed for comfort and usability for both left- and right-handed users. To enhance the knife's protection and aesthetics, it comes with a Magnolia wood Saya Cover, providing easy and safe storage. Whether you're dicing fresh produce from a farmer's market or carving a roast chicken from the oven, even the simplest culinary tasks are elevated with a handcrafted knife that seamlessly combines beauty and functionality.

The knife features a stainless steel cladding that ensures durability and resistance to corrosion while retaining a sharp edge. The Blue Steel core is renowned for its exceptional sharpness and edge retention, making it ideal for professional chefs who demand precision in their cuts. However, while most of the blade is stainless steel, the exposed Blue Steel edge may rust if not properly cared for. It is recommended that chefs regularly dry and oil the blade after use to prevent oxidation.

Elevate your culinary experience with the Yoshihiro Kurouchi Stainless Clad Knives, complemented perfectly by the Custom-Cut Saya Knife Cover—where traditional craftsmanship meets modern innovation for a knife that is both exquisite and practical.

Can't wait for the next one!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
My 9 year old loved the story and illustrations. She is hooked on this series and was thrilled to discover the graphic novel. She liked that there are new things to discover from the original Whatever After version of the story. Even though they are minor it was fun for her to catch the details.

So good!
Format: Paperback
This whole series of regular books is clever and wonderful; laugh out loud funny and inspiring. I only wish there were more graphic novels. This is a great place to start though.

Cute graphic novel version of the original Whatever After novel
Format: Paperback
I read this book after my daughter read it for our mom/daughter book club. We've read several of the Whatever After novel series, but my daughter really enjoys graphic novels, so she was excited to see they are converting the novels into graphic novels. This was my first graphic novel. Fairest of All was cute and followed the storyline of the original novel pretty well, with the pretty illustrations depicting the parts that would normally be written as exposition/narrative. I liked when Abby was telling Snow about the fairy tale she stars in and it would show a cloth backdrop behind them. It's also fun to see how Abby and Jonah (brother and sister) will fix the stories they accidentally mess up.
