Ultra‑Light Carbon Fiber Frame

Constructed with aerospace‑grade carbon fiber, the HKM-138643 achieves an extraordinary strength‑to‑weight ratio. This advanced material absorbs road vibrations naturally while resisting corrosion and fatigue. The frame’s minimal mass makes lifting and stowing the wheelchair effortless, without any compromise in structural integrity. Every junction is reinforced using precision bonding techniques typically reserved for high‑performance cycling and motorsport.

Advanced Composite
40% lighter than aluminum equivalents, yet highly impact‑resistant.

Unaffected by moisture, salt, or UV exposure – built for real‑world use.

Intelligent Lithium Power System

The removable 24V 10AH lithium‑ion battery delivers a dependable range of up to 10 miles (16 km) on a single charge. Its smart BMS (Battery Management System) continuously monitors voltage, temperature, and current to optimize performance and extend cell lifespan. The pack can be charged on or off the wheelchair, and a full charge completes in approximately 5–6 hours. Airline‑friendly* and easy to swap, it ensures you’re never stranded.

Precision Dual‑Motor Drive

Two brushless 24V 220W hub motors provide smooth, quiet acceleration and confident hill‑climbing ability. The differential electronic control ensures tight turning and excellent straight‑line stability. Whether navigating indoor thresholds or outdoor paved paths, the responsive joystick controller gives precise speed modulation from 0 to 3.7 mph (6 km/h). The motors are sealed against dust and splash, guaranteeing long‑term reliability.

Proportional speed, 360° maneuverability, intuitive operation.

One‑Step Compact Folding

The patented folding mechanism collapses the wheelchair to a remarkably small footprint of 30.7 × 11.0 × 30.7 inches (780 × 280 × 780 mm) in under three seconds. Its auto‑lock latch secures the folded form, and an integrated carry strap simplifies lifting into a car trunk, closet, or airplane overhead compartment. At an ultralight weight (frameset approximately 30 lbs / 13.6 kg without battery), the HKM-138643 redefines travel‑ready mobility.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Under typical conditions (user weight 200 lbs, flat paved surface, moderate speed), the 24V 10AH battery provides up to 10 miles (16 km). Range may decrease on inclines, rough terrain, or in cold weather.
Is the battery airline‑approved?
The 24V 10AH lithium battery (approx. 240 Wh) is within many airline limits for carry‑on or mobility aid batteries. Always confirm with your carrier prior to travel.
Can I drive it on grass or gravel?
The HKM-138643 performs best on firm, even surfaces. Short grass and packed gravel are manageable, but deep loose gravel or thick grass may reduce range and performance.
How do I maintain the carbon fiber frame?
Simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners. The carbon fiber is UV‑ and corrosion‑resistant, requiring minimal upkeep beyond regular inspections of fasteners.

Ancient Greece: the progenitor for modern day civilization
Format: Kindle
This enthralling text explores Ancient Greece from its Bronze age origins to its capitulation under the Roman Empire. Furthermore, it emphasizes the long-reaching impact this heterogeneous collection of city-states had on political, scientific, mathematical, philosophical, architectural, and military development. All of this was accomplished in spite of constantly shifting intra-regional conflict between Athens, Thrace and Sparta. Outside enemies like the Persian empire only complicated relations further. This sibling rivalry-of-sorts evolved when Alexander the Great's Macedonian empire conquered the Greek world and supplanted itself in the greco-persian conflict. While Macedonia's did embroil the internecine conflicts in the area they hellenized the regions they conquered, including: Persia,Egypt, and parts of India. However, when Alexander the Great died it left a power vacuum exploited by his men, the Romans, and the Ancient Greeks. This ultimately resulted in the Roman Empire. Ancient Greece set the stage for roman empire and while they were an autonomous union of city-states for much of their existence two things united them: their language and religion. These two cultural touchstones united these city-states as brothers, albeit with a love-hate relationship at times. This text explores the archaic, classic, and hellenic periods of Greek history in a fascinating and concise manner. It is a must-read.

Enlightening
Format: Paperback
I discovered a number of interesting things reading this book. I learned for example, that Sparta was indeed a warrior city, with men training to be soldiers from an early age and living in barracks, even when they were married. This and the death rate from fighting led to a low birth rate and their eventual demise. I also discovered that athletes in the original Olympics did indeed compete naked and that making a false start to a race was not a good idea, as people who did that were executed! I also learned that there were Greeks who believed the Earth was round and that it circled the sun, hundreds of years before Copernicus. I also discovered that the various Greek factions, (e.g. Athens, Sparta, Macedonia etc.) seemed to be constantly fighting one another). I knew that Alexander the Great built a massive empire but did not realize the extent of that empire until I read this tome. I also discovered that Aristotle was a student of Plato, who in turn was a student of Socrates Overall, it was a very enlightening read where I gathered all sorts of interesting facts
